English Pronunciation Workshop for Interpreters

Are you an interpreter or studying to become an interpreter?
Would you like to speak English more clearly or improve your pronunciation of English?

Our workshops in April and August in 2008 were a great success and we had fabulous feedback from all who attended. Please register your interest in attending a workshop here, and when we have the number of people required to run a session we will contact you.

You can use this workshop to gain credit points for Professional Development.

Workshop details:
PRESENTER: Training is provided by our specialist Speech Pathologists.
WHERE: Melbourne City Centre Location.
FEE: $182. Includes 2 speech CDs, written programs, tea & coffee only (not lunch)

CONTENT:
We will assist you in improving your speech clarity by focusing on:

making English consonant sounds correctly, with a focus on difficult consonants
making English vowel sounds correctly, with a focus on difficult vowels
developing correct use of syllable stress, rhythm and linking
revising the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)
general tips for continually improving your clarity and pronunciation
